By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that Birthday Invites & Video bears no responsibility whatsoever for user-provided information or generated content.

1. Introduction

Birthday Invites & Video ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). If you provide information about a child (for example, uploading a child’s photo to generate a video), you represent that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian (or otherwise have permission) and you consent to our processing of that information as described below.

By using our App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Child's Photo: You upload one or more photos for birthday video generation. Photos are sent to cloud services for processing and handled in accordance with this policy.
Personalization Details: We collect details such as child's name, age, relationship context, and optional message to personalize generated content.
RSVP Details: For RSVP videos, we collect fields such as date, time, location, RSVP contact, and optional note to render invitation details.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

We use Firebase for authentication and cloud processing. Account-related data and job status are stored to provide the service. We collect only the minimum diagnostics and logs needed to operate the app and troubleshoot issues.

3. How We Use Your Information

Video Generation: To create birthday videos and short RSVP video invitations
Technical Support: To provide customer support and troubleshoot issues

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services to provide core functionality:

Together AI (Video Generation): When you generate a video, we send only data required for generation, such as uploaded photo(s), selected theme, and personalization details.
Firebase (Authentication & Job Processing): We use Firebase for authentication, temporary storage of uploaded photos for processing, and job status. Temporary files are removed after video generation is complete.

✅ Consent before transmission: You must review and agree to this Privacy Policy in the App before any photo or related information is transmitted to third-party services for video generation.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure cloud storage, and limited access on a need-to-know basis. Temporary files used for video generation are deleted after use.

6. Children’s Privacy

Birthday Invites & Video is not intended to be used by children without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you provide information about a child (including a child’s photo), you represent that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian (or have permission) and you consent to our collection and use of that information as described in this policy. We do not use children's information for targeted advertising.

7. Parental Rights

Parents may request to review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child's information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in the "Contact Us" section below.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Photos are stored temporarily in the cloud for video generation and are removed after the job completes. Account and job metadata are retained as needed to provide the service. You may delete your account at any time; account deletion is permanent.
